Conventional Batt Insulation
The most common and widely available type of insulation -- comes in the form of batts or rolls. It consists of flexible fibers, most commonly fiberglass. You also can find batts and rolls made from mineral (rock and slag) wool, plastic fibers, and natural fibers, such as cotton and sheep's wool.
Vapour Barrier
A vapour barrier (sometimes referred to as vapour retarder) is typically a plastic or foil sheet used for damp proofing to prevent interstitial condensation from forming in various building assemblies such as walls, roofs, foundations and floors. In a typical commercial building or home, vapour barriers or vapour diffusion retarders can improve energy efficiency and comfort, while also preventing problems from moisture and dampness.
Foam Insulation
Spray foam is a chemical product created by two materials, isocyanate and polyol resin, which react when mixed with each other and expand up to 30-60 times its liquid volume after it is sprayed in place. This expansion makes it useful as a specialty packing material which forms to the shape of the product being packaged and produces a high thermal insulating value with virtually no air infiltration.

4800DW Firestop Caulking
4800DW is an exceptional quality high solids latex base elastomeric fire stop caulk. This enhanced fire stop material can be applied with standard caulking applicator guns or troweled in place with conventional troweling tools. This performance material has excellent caulking and finishing characteristics. 4800DW sealant forms a tight bond with most common construction materials; wood, concrete, gypsum wallboard, steel, copper, cast iron, all plastics, electrical cable, wires and metallic ducts.
